Dress-Up Time

At work, we're often encouraged to explore new styles when we have some downtime. Recently I created this playful style, which I call Dress-Up Time, that's a mix of hand drawn lines and collage elements. I think this will be particularly helpful for topics like history or literature, because we can use real artifacts, sculptures, and other works as part of the video.

First I created some style frames to test the design:

Frame 01 - Title Slide
Frame 02 - Apollo speaking with a Trojan soldier
Frame 03 - The Parthenon
Frame 04 - A map of the ancient world

Then I animated these four scenes to test how they'd actually move. There isn't an actual script or storyline, but it was still important to animate some transitions as well.

I hope to apply this style in an actual project soon.
